- If So INKlined Calligraphy was born several years ago as my love for all types of design blossomed. I have been working with calligraphy and art since I can remember. Those who know me can attest to the fact that I am never without a pen or pencil and a doodle pad. As a student, I received 2 Bachelor degrees in (BS) Clothing and Textile Design and (BFA) in Fine Art and Graphic Design. After taking a few calligraphy courses, I realized that I had a true love for lettering. This is where I first started perfecting my calligraphy style. My career started as a graphic designer for a small business newspaper. I eventually moved forward to senior designer for a publishing company, where I created book covers, packaging designs for various products, catalogs and numerous other advertising pieces and artwork. As time progressed my love for design expanded into free-lancing which landed me jobs designing advertisements seen in several national magazines, such as Better Homes and Gardens, Hot Rod Magazine, House Beautiful and many, many more!
